I really loved the article above. It says it all, and so simply. I have been an advocate, interpreter, and friend to the hispanic community in my area of SC for over 12 years now. I lost count of how many people I helped after 4000. II will continue the fight for their justice no matter what the personal cost to me. I live to serve, and to love, and to give.
I just recently became aware of your organization by talking with the wife of an inmate at Stewart Detention Center. She said that you sometimes provide shelter for visiting family members, and visits to the inmates. That would be a wonderful thing. The only time they are out of those cells is when they have a visitor. We are so far away. It is about a 5 1/2 hour drive from where we live to the prison. We only get a one hour visit. Then 5 1/2 hour drive back. If we could stay, and see him an hour the next day, that would be well worth it.

Our finances are completely depleted, having paid thousands upon thousands for attorneys, just to not have the funds to now pay the bond that he has finally been granted. I am willing to put my property up for his bond, but they want money on top of that. Money we don't have. He wants to be home for Christmas. I pray that he will. Pray with us. Contact me if there is any way in which you could be of a help to us. I will certainly spread the word of your wonderful ministry to the immigrant community!
